Benson Revamped

This past summer, our dining hall, Benson, was redone. Besides expanding the seating area, our food options were changed drastically. No longer do we have to rely on specials to spice up our meal choices. The new and improved Benson allows pasta and stir-fry to be a daily choice, as well as a fully stocked salad bar, sandwich station, and Mexican grill. If one is searching for a more American option, across the dining hall is the Bronco. Serving burgers, hotdogs, pizza, and more, the Bronco has options for everyone.
One of my favorite new options at Benson is the dessert station. Everyday, there are six different types of gelato to choose from. The flavors range from the basic chocolate and vanilla to Guinness beer flavored and ginger flavored. Along with the gelato is a smoothie station. Students can choose either gelato or yogurt, as well as an array of fruits to blend together
Outside of the dining hall is our school's Mission Bakery. Serving a variety of coffee, teas, and desserts, the bakery is a great place to stop on the way to class. During dinner, the bakery serves home-made crepes. Students can choose toppings like chocolate, strawberries, and nuts to create a tasty treat.
