so on saturday afternoon i went to the farmer's market off of lafeyette and homestead and it was amazing! there was fresh fruit and vegetables; the oranges there was absolutely delish and a MUST have. there is so many different types of food and guess what, they all have samples! i met a guy who made his own honey. he was telling me how he had honey with almost every meal! that is some CRAZY stuff, but it was good. there was also different kinds of meats, crepes, plenty of ethnics foods, and AMAZING bread. the bread there is the best i have probably ever had; they put all different kinds of grains and such in it that makes it have a unique taste. besides the food, they have all other different kinds of things you can go and explore through; candles, lotions, blankets, jewelry and more!
the fun thing about going to a farmers market is you get fresh food. it is homegrown/made and you get to talk to the people one on one who made it. it is a great and fun experience, plus there is nothing to loose! grab a friend and head over there. you get a early and refreshing start of your day and you can get a handful of delicious, fresh food!
if you have never been to a farmers market i highly suggest going to one! even if you have, you should still check out this one i went to right outside of campus(it took me maybe 5 minutes to walk over there). i am not sure what time they start packing up, but it starts earlier in the morn til i am guessing mid afternoon!
