Home-made Lemonade, WOOO!

Think back to your childhood. On a warm day, the most relaxing way to chill off was sipping on a glass of fresh squeezed, tangy lemonade. Man, even as kids, we knew that lemonade was so good you could literally make money off of it! Ahh, the sugary goodness, the cooling feeling...paradise.

Now that we're a little bit more mature, our taste buds can't handle all that sugar, but we can still enjoy a homemade glass once in a while. Why not just buy some you say? Home-made lemonade has the potential to be more than just flavored sugar water. A tart lemonade is a good lemonade. That point where it's not too sweet, but not too sour.

Here's a recipe that my friends and I worked on today.

Step 1) Fill a blender with ice.

Step 2) Get your friends to help you squeeze about 16 lemons-worth of juice. Remember to get every last bit juice you can. You will have to be able to fill the blender with lemon juice, this way, the ice to water ratio is 1:1. If you can't get enough juice, try microwaving the squeezed lemons to get out more lemon juice. 10 to 15 seconds should suffice.

Step 3) Add about 1 1/2 cups to 1 3/4 cups worth of sugar.

Step 4)BLEND

Step 5) Enjoy the sunshine, friends, and freshly squeezed, homemade lemonade
