Peet's Coffee

Vegans and non-vegans alike should flock to Peets Coffee. Started in Berkeley in the 60s (I am biased...), Peets is said to be the inspiration for Starbucks. Yet unlike Starbucks, Peets uses quality ingredients and stocks a variety of healthy pastries and drinks, both vegan and non-vegan. My favorite treats are as follows: Jasmine lime iced tea, lemon-rose tea, low-fat cherry chocolate banana bread, vegan apricot scone, and the vegan ginger cookie. They also have high quality coffee and considerably better service than Starbucks. Check them out sometime!
